KUALA LUMPUR: The powers and duties of the Attorney General and Public Prosecutor can only be separated once the Government has two-thirds support of Parliament, says Mohamed Hanipa Maidin.
The Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (in charge of law) said this was one of the hurdles faced by the Pakatan Harapan Government, as it currently does not have the two-third majority in the Dewan Rakyat.
