MHS says it will lead negotiations to purchase temple land

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia Hindu Sangam says it will lead any negotiations to purchase the land that the Seri Maha Mariamman Temple sits on should this option become a reality.

Its president Datuk RS Mohan Shan said in a statement Saturday (Dec 1) that since the Selangor government clarified it could not purchase the land, an option mooted is to purchase the land using funds donated by philanthropist businessmen and the public.
