Households earning RM3K and below to get RM100, back-to-school aid

Slowing exports and tepid inflation have raised expectations that policy makers will need to consider adding to May

PETALING JAYA: Parents in households with an income of RM3,000 and below will receive RM100 cash assistance per child for the start of the 2019 school session to lessen back-to-school expenditure.

The Finance Ministry announced that it would provide RM100 to each Year One to Form Five student from these households.
