PETALING JAYA: The Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) says their visit to the house of former MP Dennis Tan Tee Beng's was to investigate signal interference in the area, and not political persecution as he suggested.

In a statement on Saturday (Dec 22), the MCMC said they visited Tan's house on Dec 21 as his home phone had caused signal interference in the area.
