Duo claim trial to burger stall brawl


SEREMBAN: A police inspector and a burger seller pleaded not guilty at a magistrate’s court here to a charge of brawling in front of a shoplot in Taman Rasah Jaya here.

Insp Rashi Akhbar Abdul Rashid, 37, from Bukit Aman and Muhammad Firdaus Mohd Anuar, 30, were charged before magistrate Mahayun Yusof under Section 160 of the Penal Code, which provides a jail term of up to six months or a fine of up to RM1,000 or both.
