1,300 Johor students ‘playing truant’ since Jan 1


JOHOR BARU: The Johor Education Department has identified about 1,300 students in the state who have been absent from school since the beginning of the new school term.

State Religious Affairs and Education Committee chairman Aminolhuda Hassan said there were several factors that contri­buted to the situation.
