Datuk Seri charged with soliciting bribes

SHAH ALAM: The owner of an engineering consulting firm has pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here to two counts of soliciting bribes to help “settle” cases with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Com­mis­sion (MACC).

Datuk Seri Zamzuri Abdul Ghaffar (pic), 50, was slapped with the charges of allegedly soliciting payment involving RM50,000 to help resolve a case for someone being investigated for graft.
