MPs must back 'Vote at 18' to show youths matter, says Bersih 2.0

PETALING JAYA: Supporting the motion that will be tabled by the Election Commission (EC) in Parliament for youths to be eligible to vote at 18 would be an acknowledgement that the youths of the country matter, electoral watchdog Bersih 2.0 tells MPs.

"Concerns about maturity and political awareness should not be limited to those who are under 21, as age is not necessarily a determinant of a person's maturity level.
