Opposition wants conditions put in black and white

THE Opposition will only support the government’s move to allow 18-year-olds to vote if automatic voter registration and lowering the age for election candidates are included in the wording of the Bill to amend the Federal Constitution, says Umno secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa (pic).

“If the government does not rectify its amendment Bill, the Opposition will reject it and file our own Private Member’s Bill to achieve the same vision.
