Unscheduled water cuts hit Klang Valley due to odour pollution in Sungai Selangor

PETALING JAYA: A total of 1,133 areas in Klang Valley have been hit by unscheduled water supply disruption.

According to Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), the three Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plants (Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant, SSP 2 WTP and SSP 3 WTP) had to be shut down due to odour pollution in the Sungai Selangor raw water source.
