SERDANG: Leaders should fight for race, religion and the country instead of fighting for personal interests or high positions, says Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

"We do not fight for our own interests, but we fight for race, religion and the country, so when we succeed we will be looked upon highly and respected after sharing all the benefits amongst us," the Prime Minister said in his opening speech at the party's extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Saturday (July 20).
