Hungry Ghost Fest aims to raise RM1.5mil

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Penang Teong Guan Association, which oversees 260 Phor Thor (Hungry Ghost Festival) committees in Penang, is hoping to raise RM1.5mil in aid of needy students and Chinese schools.

Its chairman Heng Yak Hoi said various programmes had been planned to raise funds for the Teong Guan Association Education and Development Fund.
