Luxury yacht poised to further boost Semporna tourism

KOTA KINABALU: There is now another reason for visitors to spend more time in Semporna, the gateway to Sabah’s diving havens such as Mabul and Sipadan islands. On Monday, Chinese travel company Lazy Cat International unveiled Borneo Serenity, a luxury yacht that caters to well-heeled travellers.

State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew said this was a shot in the arm for Semporna’s tourism sector.
