Sibu Airport closed briefly after runway lights malfunction, 12 flights affected

SIBU: Sibu Airport was closed on Tuesday (Aug 13) evening for nearly an hour from 7pm due to malfunctioning runway lights, with a total of 12 inbound and outbound flights affected.

Sibu Airport manager, Zainuddin Abu Nasir said a total of 1, 561 passengers from 10 Air Asia flights and MasWings flights were affected.
