Endless fun as school celebrates Merdeka month

GEORGE TOWN: Loud cheers erupted when a group of “Malaysian soldiers” appeared and later, as they chased away the “Japanese invaders”, the crowd gave another round of applause.

The five-minute sketch about the country’s history was enough to get 359 pupils in SK Jalan Hamilton here hyped up for the National Day celebrations.
