RM1.4mil worth of e-cigarette liquid confiscated in nationwide operation

KUALA LUMPUR: Some RM1.4mil worth of e-cigarette containers with liquid suspected to contain nicotine were confiscated in a nationwide operation, after complaints about students smoking e-cigarettes, say the Health Ministry.

The Pharmacy Enforcement Division, the Health Ministry’s headquarters and the Public Health Development Division (Inspectorate and Legal Sector) carried out the joint operation on Tuesday (Aug 20), said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
