Langkawi beaches 'besieged' by sea cucumbers after recent storms

LANGKAWI (Bernama): The recent heavy rains and strong winds here have caused the beaches along Kuala Teriang and Kuala Muda to be filled with sea cucumbers, much to the delight of locals - including staff at a local resort.

Ombak Villa Langkawi sales and marketing manager Mohd Hafiz Ramli said the hotel staff first found out about the ‘treasure trove’ of marine life during the beach-cleaning process.
