PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has granted leave to Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah to challenge the appointment of Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram as senior deputy public prosecutor (DPP) in their trials.
A three-member bench, chaired by Justice Hasnah Mohammed Hashim, allowed the appeal for leave after hearing submissions from both parties.
