Health Ministry: Avoid going outdoors if API exceeds 100

KUALA LUMPUR: Avoid outdoor activities if the air pollution index (API) exceeds 100, the Health Ministry warns.

This is especially pertinent to children and those suffering from respiratory illnesses and heart problems as they would be more affected by exposure to haze, said health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
