Tunku Azizah first woman to be proclaimed IIUM's constitutional head

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah could not hold back her tears when she was proclaimed the second constitutional head (chancellor) of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

The proclamation was made by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at the proclamation ceremony of the Raja Permaisuri Agong as the university’s constitutional head on Friday (Nov 22).
