Eyes wide open: Selangor Maqis confiscates coffee beans worth RM4.3mil

PORT KLANG (Bernama): The Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Department (Maqis) Selangor, has foiled an attempt to smuggle in 2.7 tonnes of coffee beans worth RM4.3mil in an operations in Northport Tuesday (Nov 26).

Selangor/Negri Sembilan Maqis director Dr Tarmisal Alimin said the coffee beans were found after checks were conducted on 32 containers in the port area.
