GEORGE TOWN: The main contractor of the Bukit Kukus paired road project was fined a total of RM22,000 after changing its plea to guilty at the Sessions Court here.
However, the guilty plea was for charges related to falling beams at the site on Oct 11,2018 rather than for the landslide at the project site that took the lives of nine workers on Oct 19,2018.
