Kimanis has potential to be transformed into oil and gas hub, says Wanita Amanah chief

BEAUFORT: Kimanis constituency has the potential to be transformed into an oil and gas hub like Pengerang in Johor, which will provide more job opportunities for youths, say Wanita Amanah.

Its chief, Senator Aiman Athirah Al-Jundi (pic) said under the previous Umno and Barisan Nasional administration, gas resources in Kimanis were channelled to other areas like Bintulu for processing, causing Kimanis and Sabah to miss out in development and investment opportunities.
