Youth who went on armed robbery spree gets 66 months' jail, rotan


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): For committing armed robberies at five convenience stores, a man was sentenced to a total of 66 months in jail and five strokes of the cane by two Sessions Courts here.

Judges Izralizam Sanusi and Emilia Kaswati Mohamad Khalid on Thursday (Jan 16) sentenced Muhammad Shahrul Haikal Laysabri, 21, after he pleaded guilty to five counts of robbery involving RM1,077.05 with the use of a meat knife, an axe and a fork lock.
