Xavier Jayakumar: Water rationing may be needed in Kedah


LANGKAWI (Bernama): Water rationing may be implemented in Kedah if water supply problems persist, says Water, Land and Natural Resources Minister Datuk Dr Xavier Jayakumar (pic).

He said, wowever, before rationing is carried out, available tube wells in the state would be opened to ensure water supply is adequate, especially for domestic consumers.
