KUALA LUMPUR: MCA’s annual Chinese New Year open house this year wants to get its leaders closer to their guests by introducing a "cocktail style" setting.

To be held at Wisma MCA at Jalan Ampang on Saturday - the first day of Chinese New Year - the cocktail-style event will do away with designated tables, allowing for party leaders to mingle more freely with the guests, said secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon.
