Vietnamese among seven nabbed for illegal gambling


BUKIT MERTAJAM: Seven suspects, including a Vietnamese national, were arrested by police for illegal gambling at Juru estate on Wednesday (Jan 22).

Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid said the suspects, aged between 24 and 56, were nabbed next to a house in the estate located at Jalan Juru at about 1.30pm in an operation dubbed Op Dadu/Op Limau 2020.
