Man lands on car roof after falling from fifth floor of Tawau shopping mall (updated)


A man survived a fall from the fifth storey of a shopping mall when he landed on a car driven by a woman at Jalan Kuhara in Sabah's east coast Tawau.

KOTA KINABALU: A 48-year-old man, who fell from the fifth floor of a shopping mall and landed on a car roof, is in stable condition, says the Tawau police chief.

Asst Comm Peter Umbuas said the unemployed man was apparently trying to kill himself in the incident at Jalan Kuhara in Tawau at around 12.10pm on Monday (Jan 27).
