No cases of coronavirus in Penang, says exco member

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang government has refuted claims that there were cases of the novel coronavirus in the state.

State health committee chairman Dr Afif Bahardin said as of Monday (Jan 27), there were no cases of patients infected with the virus or had been admitted to any of the hospitals in the state.
