Al-Sultan Abdullah attends thanksgiving in conjunction with first anniversary as Agong


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah attended a thanksgiving ceremony Thursday (Jan 30) in conjunction with the first anniversary of his swearing-in as the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Friday (Jan 31).

During the ceremony held at the surau of Istana Negara, Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah recited the "surah Yasin” together with 300 people comprising senior officials and staff of Istana Negara as well as tahfiz students from Maahad Tahfiz Darus Syabab.
