GEORGE TOWN: A prominent businessman recently charged with drug trafficking in Penang is in the public limelight after it was discovered that he is the fifth largest shareholder of PBA Holdings Bhd (PBAHB), the listed entity of Penang Water Supply Corporation.
Ooi Chieng Sim, 50, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court in Bukit Mertajam on Thursday along with seven others, including Myanmar nationals, with trafficking in 4,980gm of methamphetamine.
