Lahad Datu district council, cops demolish drug nests in water village


Huts and illegal structures being demolished in Lahad Datu.

KOTA KINABALU: A hut, believed to be a drug nest, were among 10 illegal structures torn down at a water village in Lahad Datu on Thursday (Feb 7).

Lahad Datu OCPD Asst Comm Nasri Mansor said the demolition of these structures were carried out by the Lahad Datu district council with help from Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB), the district forestry department, the water department and the police.
