KOTA KINABALU: Over 350kg of rubbish was collected during a beachcombing activity on Saturday (Feb 8), with 2,281 plastic bottles being the bulk of the trash picked up.

The programme held simultaneously at two separate locations - along the public beach of Sutera Harbour Resort, and Sulug Island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park - was the second phase of the Sustaining Kota Kinabalu's Marine Heritage project.
