LTTE: Businessman's bail application dismissed


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The High Court here on Monday (Feb 10), dismissed an application for bail by a businessman who is facing a charge with giving support to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) terrorist group.

Judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan dismissed the application by B.Subramaniam, 57, on grounds that an offence on terrorism under Section 130J of the Penal Code is non-bailable as provided under Section 13 of the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma).
