M'sian on death row to appeal S'pore courts dismissal of bid to challenge clemency plea rejection


SINGAPORE (Bernama): Malaysian Pannir Selvam Pranthaman, who is on death row in Singapore, will appeal against Wednesday's (Feb 12) decision by the republic's high court which dismissed his bid to challenge the rejection of his clemency plea.

"Pannir will be appealing the decision. So, the matter isn't over yet. We have a month to file the notice of appeal," said his counsel Too Xing Ji.
