Online travel agencies offer refunds for travellers


PETALING JAYA: As tourism grapples with the scourge of the global Covid-19 outbreak, online travel agencies such as Agoda and Booking.com have offered free provisional refunds for travellers using their services.

Agoda, in a statement posted online, said that free cancellations were offered for unused global bookings where the accommodation is located in China, or unused bookings made by customers travelling from China to anywhere in the world between Jan 24 and Feb 29.
