PUTRAJAYA: The Government will crack down on those who spread fake news, and it will do so with existing legislation without reviving the Anti-Fake News Act, says Hanipa Maidin (pic).
The Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department said the Government had to act because irresponsible parties were spreading fake news, which had become more prevalent with the Covid-19 outbreak.
