Flurry of activity at the palace

KUALA LUMPUR: With talk of a new political coalition taking shape, scores of vehicles consisting of luxurious sedans and MPVs were spotted arriving at the National Palace.Pressmen, who had gathered at the palace in anticipation of the latest development, saw the vehicles moving in from 5.30pm yesterday near Gate 1 and Gate 3 entrances.

It is believed that Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali were there to seek an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
