GPS must not compromise on rakyat’s interest, say Sarawak natives

MIRI: A major grouping of indigenous natives in Sarawak wants to see a snap election called at both the national and state level to get a clear-cut resolution to the political upheaval in the country.

The Society for the Rights of Indigenous Peoples of Sarawak (SCRIPS) feels that the only way forward is for a fresh general election, with Sarawak also holding its state elections at the same time.
