Only those who want EPF deductions should apply, says MTUC

PETALING JAYA: Members of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) who choose to reduce their contribution rates to 7% under the Covid-19 stimulus package should be the ones to apply for it, says the Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC).

Its secretary-general J. Solomon said that instead of having members apply to maintain their 11% contribution, the retirement fund should only make members fill up the form if they opt to have their contributions reduced to 7%.
