Waiter fined RM10k for attempting to bribe enforcement officer


JOHOR BARU: A 43-year-old waiter from India was sentenced to seven days in jail and fined RM10,000 for attempting to give a RM300 bribe to a local council enforcement officer here.

Manarikal Miyas had committed the offence in a shop along Taman Delima in the Kluang district at about 12.30pm on Jan 30 this year.
