Kamarudin: 1,075 Malaysians still stranded in India


PETALING JAYA: About 1,075 Malaysians are still stranded in India after the Indian government imposed a travel ban on passengers, including Indian passport holders, from flying in from several countries hit by the Covid-19 virus.

Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Kamarudin Jaffar (pic) said 450 people were stranded in Chennai, Trichy (430), New Delhi (97), Bangalore (63), Mumbai (24) and Cochin (11).
