PETALING JAYA: Medical experts have cautioned a research paper’s forecast that Malaysia’s Covid-19 cases could peak in mid-April, with about 6,300 cases being “too optimistic”.
Universiti Sains Malaysia medical epidemiologist and biostatistician Assoc Prof Dr Kamarul Imran Musa said JP Morgan’s projection of a secondary rate infection at 1.7 was “too optimistic” as it did not reflect the current spread of Covid-19.
