Rina Harun thanks NGOs for help in delivering aid to needy

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Rina Harun (pic) has thanked non-governmental organisations (NGO) for assisting authorities to hand out food and other necessities to underprivileged individuals and families during the Movement Control Order (MCO).

“Aside from healthcare personnel, police, the army, the People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela), the Welfare Department and other frontliners who are working hard to help the Government and the people in fighting the spread of Covid-19, the involvement of NGOs is also very important, ” the Women and Family Development Minister said in a post on her Facebook account on Friday (April 3).
