SIBU: The government should give financial assistance to people from Sarawak who are stranded away from their hometowns, says Sarawak Workers Party (SWP) secretary-general Lavenia Mawas.
"SWP has received a lot of reports, as a lot of people from Sarawak in Kuala Lumpur are stranded in hotels or apartments, as there is no flight or their flight has been rescheduled to a later date. They have also run out of money and are unable to pay for their accommodation and food," she said.
