‘Hair-raising’ concern over barber shops being open


PETALING JAYA: The government should not allow hair salons and barber shops to operate due to risks from close contact between the service provider and customer, says a medical expert.

Describing it as a “hair-raising” concern, Academy of Medicine Malaysia master Prof Dr Rosmawati Mohamed said one of the aims of the movement control order (MCO) was to ensure social distancing.
