Police detain 238 people in raid on illegal camp in Hulu Selangor

HULU SELANGOR: A total of 238 Malaysians, including 85 children, were detained by the police when an illegal camp in Ulu Rening here was raided by the police on Tuesday (April 28) afternoon.

"This group is known as the Dewan Perkasa Ekonomi Islam Nusantara. As of now, all have their ICs. They are all Malaysians,” said Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Fadzil Ahmat.
