PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia’s population is estimated at 32.73 million in the first quarter of 2020, an increase of 0.6% over the corresponding period last year, according to the Department of Statistics.
Chief Statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said the population comprised 29.62 million or 90.5% Malaysian citizens and 3.12 million (9.5%) non-citizens.
