BUTTERWORTH: Despite the uncertainties over the Covid-19 pandemic, a single mother has persevered in earning a livelihood by baking Raya cookies such as semperit and ulat bulu.
“Among my customers’ favourite cookies are London almond cookies, semperit, pineapple tarts, biskut buah pinggang (kidney-shaped cookies) and ulat bulu,” said the mother of four, Noor Hana Jaafar, 43.
