RM5k fine for site supervisor who broke Covid-19 quarantine to enjoy a plate of noodles


SIBU: A site supervisor learned a bitter lesson when the Magistrate's Court here fined him RM5,000 in default five months' jail after he pleaded guilty to breaking his Covid-19 quarantine.

Magistrate Muhammad Faizal Che Saad passed the sentence Thursday (June 4) based on public interest and the nature of the case.
